Dirk was a very wonderful, nice person! I knew him at Cupertino Jr. High and on into high school at Homestead. His nickname was "Spock" because we, his schoolmates, thought he looked so much like the Leonard Nimoy character Spock on the original Star Trek series! He was the first of our class that I know of to pass over to the non-physical that awaits us all. Fond memories, best wishes and light to you Dirk.
