Air Force, 20+ Years
AF Reserve, 4/1983 - 9/2005. (22.5). Retired Tech Seargent (E6). Assigned as Aircrew Egress Systems Mechanic (Ejection seats). Attained 7-level certification. Cross trained Asst. Crew Chief on F-4C/D/E and F-16A/B/C/D to Block 50. Public Affairs work - published photos from Squadron (301 FW/MXS; 457th FW/SQ to Wing (10th AF) level including air-to-air to Civic Leader tours. Basic - Lackland AFB, TX. Tech training - Chanute AFB, IL. Honor graduate both tech school and Student Leader Training or “Rope” School (short Tech school - only able to get yellow rope); 507th TAC Fighter, Tinker AFB, OK and last at 301st FW, Carswell AFB (renamed: NAS FT. Worth JRB Carswell Field after BRAC). Air Force Commendation Medal. Designed a usable Excel spreadsheet to track the various explosives for the ejection system tracking shelf life and service life down to the a/c tail number installation.

Posting this for my Brother who has passed. Bill served in the US Army from 1965 to 1966 with one year break. Bill suprized the whole family when he decided to go to Special Forces training. Bill served for 20yrs as a Green Beret. Very proud of my brother. Most of the time we didn't know where he was or what he was doing until he came home and got in contact with the family. Very proud of you my brother and I miss you very much every day. You left to soon.
