About	THIEBAUT ROBERT E. Age 55, lifetime resident of San Mateo, passed away from Leukemia at his home in San Mateo on February 23, 2002. He was a graduate of Hillsdale High School and Hayward State University, and served in The U.S. Army as a Counter Intelligence Agent during the Vietnam War. He was a "Regional Sales Manager" for a Satellite Technology Company in Dallas, Texas. He leaves his beloved wife of 31 years the former Karen Ann Chock, a graduate of College of Notre Dame in Belmont, and his daughter Michelle, a graduate of The University of Texas. He was the son of Paul Thiebaut and the late Geraldine Thiebaut. He also leaves a brother Paul Thiebaut Jr. of Redwood City and a sister Renee Thiebaut of San Mateo, and stepmother Maria. He was the fond son-in-law of James and Frances Chock of Honolulu, Hawaii and brother and sister-in-law, Stephen and Darilyn of Honolulu. He will also be missed by his good friend Bob Harrison of San Mateo and his many other friends an! d ! associates. he will be remembered by all that knew him for his gentle ways and humor. Please for your health, don't smoke cigarettes, he had told everybody he met. Friends are invited to attend a Mass on Thursday, February 28, 2002 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Matthew's Catholic Church 1 Notre Dame Avenue in San Mateo. Friends may call on Wednesday, February 27, 2002 starting at 3:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Sneider and Sullivan Funeral Home 977 So. El Camino Real in San Mateo.
