About	Joe died in January 2023 after to Marina Del Ray, after a short illness. There is a nice obituary in the Delta Times Feb. 21, 2023. He was stalwart, reasonably proud of his accomplishments, and a good family man. When his law partner of 40 years was asked if he had ever seen Joe get angry he replied “One time he got sore at an employee who made a big mistake.” Joe was a good man and he could make a person laugh. He is greatly missed. Sandy van Broek
