William Francis "Bill" Geister, 49, Springfield, passed away at 12:05 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16, 1994 in Springfield Health Care. On April 19, 1945, in Springfield, he was born to William Albert and Ruth F. Campbell Geister. He was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church and had worked for Dryer-Williams Shoe Store in the warehouse. Survivors include his mother, Ruth Geister, of the home; and two sons, Darren and Darrick Geister, both of Springfield. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Greenlawn Funeral Home South. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home. [Spfd News Leaders dated 17 Aug 1994; SSDI]
