James Thomas Rains James Thomas Rains, 60, of Clearwater, Fla., passed away May 4, 2007, at the Veteran's Health Center, Bay Pines, Fla. Jim was born May 21, 1946. He grew up in Springfield and graduated from Hillcrest High School. He was a Vietnam War Veteran. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Sr. and Helen E. Rains. He is survived by a sister, Terrianna Rains of Blue Springs, Mo., a brother, Claude Rains Jr. and his wife, Dee, of Lee's Summit, Mo., as well as other relatives and friends. Services and burial were in Bay Pines, Fla.
