| Favorite School Memory | After the first Earth Day where for several weeks Andy Taylor and I cut our Paper dolls to show Population explosion in My Weands Chemistry class room and had covered the walls with these cutouts. On a rainy afternoon we plastered mr Weand's car with paperdolls and huge amount of newspaper that were also stuffed into his car. We thought we had gotten away unnoticed and also not punnished. Weeks later, after we suffered a lot of guilt as we heard not a word from anyone, Mr Case, another science teacher, admitted that the entire science department had watched us do it and thought it was hysterically funny. They had the last laugh as we felt so much guilt later. In todays world we would suffer greater consequences as possibly be arrested for vandalism etc. The great thing was no one felt the need to lock their vehicles back in 1970. | About Me | Raised a family, lived in FL, AL, LA, PA, VA and MD. Worked in Pharmaceuticals Standards. Work in Telecommunications various Network and Provisioning Engineering roles., Earned 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Degree Black Belts in Tae Kwon Do in a unique Community based program in MD. I became a Medical and Wilderness First Responder,, Currently hold Emergency Medical Technician certification (EMT) in PA which I use during many volunteering event opportunities I am involved with in Scouting events and the annual Lance Armstrong LiveStrong Challenge in Philadelphia PA providing emergency medical suppport. Plus many other Community based volunteering oppertunities. Have had many opportunities to Travel -Mecixo, Canada, Thailand. Puerto Rico and several Caribbean Countries.Also visits...(read more) |
