Caroline Anne Handwerk, 33, passed away Saturday, April 16 at her home in
Enola, PA. Carrie was born on January 15, 1978 in Norfolk, VA.
A graduate of Herndon High School, Herndon, VA, she held
various
positions in new home sales and office management. She also volunteered as a teacher's aide. Carrie enjoyed watching movies, attending music concerts, Penn State football, and had a keen interest in the US Space Program. She was a lifelong member of Herndon United Methodist Church, Herndon, VA.
Carrie is survived by her father Steve Handwerk, and his wife Molly, of Camp Hill, her mother Lynn Paradis, and her husband Steve, of Potomac Falls, VA, her brother Matt of Fairfax, VA, and her grandfather Harry Bowen of Front Royal, VA.
A memorial service will be held at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Camp Hill, PA at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20. A private burial will occur at a later date at Union Cemetery, Slatington, PA. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory to the National Alliance on Mental Health (NAMI). www.pennlive.com/obits
