About | Beloved father, brother and uncle, Ronald (Ronnie) B. Dade 64, born on May 7, 1950 in Washington DC , was a long time resident of Loudoun County Va. before moving to Blacksburg Va. Ronnie passed from this life on March 24, 2015 at the Montgomery Hospital located in Blacksburg Va. He was a former employee of Fairfax Hospital located in Fairfax. Ronnie had also obtained employment working at Giants Grocery store and in the maintenance field working for Chantilly Pines and Elden Terrace apartments located in Herndon. He was the son of James F. Gantt and Ophelia E. Dade. Ronnie loved going to church and praising God A few of his favorite hymns were Ride on King Jesus and Peace in the Valley. We know that Ronnie is at peace now. If he were here today he would say (I'm tired and weary, but I must go along till the Lord comes to call me away, Well the morning is bright and the Lamb is the Light and the night is as fair as the day there will be peace in the valley for me no more sadness, no more trouble there will be peace in the valley for me). After graduating from Herndon High school Ronnie went to college to further his education to study law and mortuary science. He attended church in Blacksburg Va. and was studying to become a preacher. Ronald is survived by his sons Terrace Dade and Vidal Murray, brother Maurice Dade, nieces Norma, Carolyn, Barbara and Benita Dade, nephews Brian , Delshawn and Robert Dade . He is further survived by his granddaughter Olivia Murray, sister in laws Ada , Lena and Francis Dade , brother in laws, Gallin and Timothy Murray, mother in law Bernice Grisby. Ronald enjoyed wrestling , his favorite was Jake the snake. He was preceded in death by his (wife) Marion Dade, (father) James F. Gantt, (mother) Ophelia E. Dade, (brother) Earl Dade, (sister-in-law) Doretha Dade, (grandmother) Florence Wilkerson, brother in laws Kenny and Donald Murray, and Michael Moore, . He leaves behind his dear friends, Ricky Hearn, Sharon Baker, David Hogan, Leon Hogan,` a host of relatives and friends. (preceded friend George Cox, ) A gathering of family and friends will be held for Mr. Dade on Saturday April 4, 2015 at Colonial Funeral Home of Leesburg, 201 Edwards Ferry Rd, Leesburg, VA 20176 from 10:00 am -11:00 am viewing thereafter the Home going service at 11:00 am. |
