Events	ara Jean Hickey, 54, passed away on October 9th, 2024 in Manassas, VA. Born on May 14, 1970 in Buffalo, NY Tara was known for her caring nature, generous spirit, and good sense of humor. Tara graduated from Herndon High School in Herndon, VA and attended Ohio University. She built a successful career as a real estate agent specializing in new home sales, where her warmth and dedication made her a favorite among clients and colleagues alike. Tara is survived by her daughter, Riley Bryce Gelacak of Lynchburg, VA; her parents, Michael Steven Gelacak and Joyce Kingman Gelacak of Haymarket, VA; her sisters, Bonnie Barrett of Manassas, VA, and Meredith Mulligan of Narragansett, RI; and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of Tara's life will be held for the immediate family at a later date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice in Tara's memory. Tara's kindness and humor will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
