Joined the Air Force in July of 1965 right out of
High School. Served for 12 years in South Carolina, Germany, Korea, Mass and Nebraska in the Underground at HQ SAC in the Computer Field then returned to Maine.

In 22 years I served in Boston, Mariana Islands, New York City, Iwo Jima Island, Mobile ALA, Seattle, Singapore, San Francisco, Long Beach, Astoria WA, Hawaii, Various places in Europe, etal. Retired on LCDR pay in 1984.

Enlisted November 1965. Boot camp at Great Lakes IL. Stationed at Patuxent River MD, Millington TN, Key West FL, Quonset Point RI, Pensacola FL, San Diego CA, Jacksonville FL, Gitmo Bay Cuba, Keflavik Iceland, USS Wasp, USS Intrepid, USS Saratoga, USS Lexington, USS JFK, USS Enterprise. Military specialty: Aircraft mechanic, reciprocating and jet engine technician, Combat Aircrewman, Navy Instructor.

Our Hermon High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Hermon High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated. All of us in Hermon are proud of our military alumni and want to thank them for risking their lives to protect our country!
