| About Me | I have been an independent life and health insurance agent for 42 years. Susan (an independent interior designer) and I have recently celebrated our 42nd wedding anniversary. We have two children (boy and girl) and four beautiful and loving grandchildren. Aside from our careers, we love music and entertaining. Along with our daughter Amy Jeter, Susan and I have sung together professionally for many years as The Marcontell Trio, performing in the country, gospel and 50's music genres. We have performed the national anthem for the Texas Rangers at the Ballpark in Arlington, have performed at numerous concerts and venues and have been an opening act for many professional entertainers. Along with some other musician and entertainer friends, we are also all members of a professional entertainment band known as "Electric Cactus" of which I am also the steel guitarist. Our son is an accomplished guitarist and vocalist who also performs with us on occasion and also performs solo and in bands. I play pedal steel guitar both for personal recreation as well as professionally. My love for steel guitar and it's sound in country music started early in life while growing up in Hereford, Texas.
