Favorite School Memory	Out of town football games. I was a member of the "Big Red Band." This was our name then.
About Me	Joined the U.S. Army - Occupation as a Personnel Administrative Specialist and attended Airborne school then graduated as a paratrooper. Was assigned to Fort Bragg, NC with the 82nd Airborne Division (http://www.bragg.army.mil/18ABN/default.htm) . Served from 84 to 89 (5.5 years). Since then, I have worked in various industries (factory work, food service, retail, Corporate America and currently at a law firm (mainly corporate law). I am a volunteer with my county under the DeKalb Emergency Mgmt. Agency, served as a volunteer with the DeKalb County Fire Rescue Corps-Citizen Reserve (www.citizenreserve.org), Vice President of the American Veterans for Equal Rights-Georgia chapter (www.avergeorgia.org), volunteer with Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials (GALEO - www.galeo.org) and since graduating from the GALEO Institute for Leadership have become a member of the GALEO Leadership Council. I am currently working on a project with GALEO on Comprehensive Immigration Reform and am making plans to visit with our Georgia state Senators to discuss the DREAM Act of 2009 (Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors Act).
