Annette was born August 31, 1942, in Lansing, Michigan, daughter of the late Cecil Bowers and Merna (Shepard) Bowers. She passed away peacefully at home on Monday, December 5, 2022, at age 80.
Annette served as the Director of Pregnancy Services of Michigan for 10 years and was very involved with Abortion Alternatives International. Annette enjoyed going to the casino, camping, cooking, fishing, shopping, working with the elderly, and spending time with her family.
Annette is survived by her loving and dedicated husband of 62 years, Thomas Krycinski; four cherished children, Thomas (Teresa), Matthew (Tracey), Amy (Scott), and Tamma (Troy); grandchildren, Tommy (Brittany), Anna (Brad), Alyssa (Jordan, or Jason, as Annette always called him), Megan (Zach), Paul (Ashlee), and Carolynne (Mike); great grandchildren, Ashton, Emillio, Taylin, Sawyer, Easton, Parker, Nathan, Charlotte, and Evalynne; cherished sister, Michelle (Bob); very special family friend, Julie, and her children, Danny and TJ; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Annette was preceded in death by her parents, special grandson, Tristan, who blessed her life for a year, and her beloved dog, EJ.
Funeral services will be held at St. Michael Catholic Church, 345 Edwards St, Grand Ledge, MI 48837 on Friday, December 9, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., with Father James Eisele officiating. A luncheon will take place after the service at the church and interment will follow at the Dimondale Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Mills Funeral Home – Peters & Murray Chapel, 301 E. Jefferson St, Grand Ledge, MI 48837on Thursday, December 8, 2022, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., with a rosary at 7:00 p.m., and one hour before the funeral services on December 9, 2022, at St. Michael Catholic Church.
Those who wish may make memorial contributions in Annette’s memory to the Ronald McDonald House of Mid-Michigan or Shared Pregnancy Women’s Center.
