Selected as the 106th member of the Audey Murphy Club. Recieved both the Bronze and Silver medallion as an inductee into the Order of Saint Geroge for the calvary soldier. Served in the Army in different positions , ranging from Tank Commander, Drill Sergeant, Platoon Sergeant, Platoon Tactics Trainer- NTC Live Fire Division, Small Group Insturctor for Combat Arms Tactics, Master Fitness Traininer, Brigade Security Manager and finally was the First Sergeant for two Headquarters and Headquarters Companies, and a Marine Corps Training Company. Retired in 1999 turning down the rank of Command Sergeant Major due to family priorities.
