Upon graduation from HHS in 1967, I along with Oral Beard and Hank Baugher, joined the Air Force, where I served our great country for the next 28 years. I worked in the Personnel career field and attained the rank of Chief Master Sergeant (E9). My assignments took me from San Antonio to Amarillo, TX. From there, I was off to Clark AB, Philippines; Saigon, Vietnam; Madrid, Spain; Maxwell and Gunter AFBs, AL; Randolph AFB, TX; Ramstein AB, Germany; Brooks AFB, TX; Kunsan AB,Korea and finally, Randolph AFB, TX, where I retired on 1 July 1995. After working as a Air Force Contractor at Randolph AFB, TX, for the next 17 years, I finally Retired on 31 October 2014, hopefully for the last time.

• Served 20 year in the US Army. While serving I accomplished the following jobs and retired from service as a Chief Warrant 2.
• 34-years of experience in IT Field
• Extensive knowledge of UNIX programming and scripting, ISSO, Network and Database Administrator, Data backup, Security monitoring, User profile administration, Troubleshooting of hardware internal and external devices, performing of daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
• Experience in training, motivating and supervising personnel (E-1 to E-9) (GS-5 to GS-12) in 12 military assignments.
• Directed and oversaw a $45M+ Ammunition Stockpile, Fort Bragg, NC/ Camp Casey, Korea.,
• Led a team of 35 personnel that provided mission support for soldiers transferring to and from Afghanistan in support of Dessert Strom.
• Managed a $250M annual budget in Measau Army Depot (59th Ordnance BN) (Headquarters European Command)
• Provided Computer SA support to 15 separate locations with remote System Database administration and UNIX backup.
• Wrote and interpreted Ammunition policies for a $150 million Ammunition Holding Area Supply Point across Korea.
• Provided planning and war fighting solutions to analysts located in and across the USERPAC Command.
• Devised logistics plans in support of future weapon density ammunition reload and resupply.
• Exceptional interpersonal, customer service, written, and oral communication skills.
• Webpage design and updating in support of the ATSC/STRAC Ammunition Requirements
