Enlisted in the Navy reserves in 2000. After the 9/11 attacks I served on active duty at NAVSTA Mayport, FL to enhance the Naval Station's security readiness and to discourage further attacks within the US aimed at military targets. 2009 I recieved my commission and currently serve as an Officer-in-Charge of a five member civil affairs team which assist developing nations with turning problems into solutions.
