Storcella, Christopher Dougherty, - of Margate, NJ., passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, in his home. Christopher was born to parents Anthony Storcella (predeceased) and Dolores Dougherty Storcella (predeceased) on August 3, 1950, in New York City, NY. He was a graduate of Villanova University, Class of 1972. Chris retired from the State of New Jersey Casino Control Commission where he was the Director of the Licensing Division, one of the first employees and a trail blazer for the New Jersey casino industry. He was also one of the first employees of the Ohio Casino Control Commission as the Director of Licensing and Investigation. During his residence in Margate, Chris was honored to serve as the President of the Margate School District. He volunteered his time with the NJ Division of Fish and Wildlife as a Hunter Education Instructor, he enjoyed teaching new hunters the joy and safety of the sport. Christopher is survived by his wife, Karen Marie Koptic of 26 years and their daughter, Shannon Frances Storcella, and many loving cousins.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2019, at the Holy Trinity Parish/Blessed Sacrament Church, 11 North Kenyon Avenue, Margate, NJ, where friends may call from 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private. The family requests in lieu of flowers to make a donation to your charity of choice in his name. Arrangements by the George H. Wimberg Funeral Home. Darlene J. Parr HAMILTON Darlene J. Parr, 68, of Hamilton, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2018, at Compassionate Care Hospice at Robert Wood Johnson Hamilton. Darlene was predeceased by her parents, John and Blance Slabicki Tobiasz. She was the sister of the late Ronald J. Tobiasz. Surviving Darlene are her husband, Thomas R. Parr of Hamilton Township; two sons, Jeffrey J. Parr and significant other, Christine M. Stalvey, of Hattiesburg, MS, and Robert T. Parr of Hamilton Township; brother, John and Carol Tobiasz of Hamilton Square; several nephews, nieces, and cousins. Darlene was born in Trenton. She was a lifelong Trenton and Hamilton resident. She retired in 2014 after 37 years of service with Liedtka Trucking. She enjoyed making crafts, especially candle making, enjoyed being a homemaker, and supporting her sons in all their school activities and sports. Darlene was a very dedicated wife and mother. Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Wednesday, May 2, at 10:30 a.m., at the Winowicz Funeral Home, 308 Adeline St., Trenton. Calling hours will be Wednesday, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Anthony Church, 626 South Olden Ave., Trenton, with Rev. Fr. George J. Murphy, Jr., 88, of Hamilton, passed away into God's loving arms on Saturday August 4, 2012 at home. Born in Trenton on December 11, 1923, he was a lifelong area resident.
Mr. Murphy was a career educator. He was a graduate of Trenton Catholic High School, Seton Hall University, Denver University and Columbia University. He taught school in Denver Colorado and Hamilton Township. He was Principal of Hamilton High School West, Superintendant of Lakewood Township Schools and retired as Superintendent of the Florence Township Schools. He was recognized for his outstanding service in the field of education by the Burlington County Schools. Mr. Murphy was a World War II Veteran. He was awarded with the Purple Heart and three Bronze Stars. He was an avid tennis player and was a member of the Kuser Tennis Association and the U.S.T.A. He was nominated Man of the Year by the Boy Scouts of America. He was a Eucharistic Minister for St. Raphael-Holy Angels Church.
Mr. Murphy was a beloved husband and father. Son of the late George and Mary O'Loughlin Murphy, father of the late Shelia, Patricia, and Peter, brother of the late Mary Ann McKee , he is survived by his loving wife of 63 years; Margaret Peterson Murphy; and his children; George J. Murphy III and his wife Elise; of Fairfax, Virginia, Maureen Richardson and her husband Thomas; of Hamilton, Christine Pringle; of St. Augustine, Florida, Philip J. Murphy; of Hamilton, Paul M. Murphy; of Hamilton, Margaret A. Murphy; of Hamilton, and Thomas A. Murphy; of Boca Raton, Florida; one brother; Jack Murphy; of Trenton; eight grandchildren; Katherine Jagger; Michael Murphy; Elizabeth Murphy; Daniel and David Richardson; Riordan and Drew Pringle; and Evan Langan; one great grandson; Levi Jagger; brother-in-law; Joseph Peterson; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law; Vincent and Mary Ann Peterson; many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed.
The Funeral will be held at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday (Aug. 9) from the Buklad Yardville Memorial Chapel, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road in Yardville. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at St. Raphael's Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the memorial chapel.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, 34th and Civic Center Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19104.

Loving husband of Kathleen Ryklicki Lieblang (Class of 68), father to Matthew Lieblang and daughter-in-law Stephanie Tompkins (Bordentown) and three grandchildren. James was the brother of Virginia Lieblang Cowell (Class of 1963). Jim was a great friend to all that knew him and will be greatly missed.
