70th Birthday Picnic

Hope all my fellow 1973 Milwaukee Hamilton Grads are having a great summer. During this year, many of us are reaching a milestone in our lives…we are turning 70! As I remember my high school years and time spent with many of you, we like to party.
On Friday, August 29th we are hoping that many of us can gather once again to reconnect and celebrate our birthdays. Picnic Area #8 at Whitnall Park has once again been reserved for the day. This picnic area has restrooms, electricity, picnic tables, and a covered shelter. Rain or shine, the party will go on. We are planning on having things set up and ready to go by noon. Plan on spending the day or just stopping by for a period that works for your schedule. The site is reserved until 9 p.m. and the planning committee will be there until then if there are still fellow classmates there to catch the Brewer’s game which starts at 6:07 p.m.
We are asking you to bring your own food and beverages. We will have grills available if you are interested in grilling. If you wish, a dish to pass is welcomed. We will have a coffee service table (provided by Leslie Brandt/Bell) and birthday cupcakes (provided by Karin Peckman/Corona).
Games, music, pinata, pictures, laughs and many memories are sure to add to more laughs and more memories. Rick Cesar has volunteered to officiate games to prevent any fights.
Hope to see you there. Pass the word to any classmates that you are still in contact with. We will attempt to reach out to as many as possible by social media and email but would appreciate your help in spreading the word.

Event starts at 5 pm. Dinner will be at 6:00 pm catered by Bunzel's. Cost per ticket is $55.00. Please make check payable to Alexander Hamilton Reunion Committee and mail to the same at PO Box 5062, Elm Grove, WI 53122.
Payment can also be made via Zelle. You will need the following info to make the transaction: Alexander Hamilton (first name), Reunion Account (last name), Cell #: 414-416-6704, and email address: minnie2468@wi.rr.com. We want everyone who wants to attend to be able to! We are aware of the tough economy and have a few scholarships to use for the cost of dinner. We are working on some fun activities and there will be dancing!
CASH bar by Taste. Bottled water will be $2, but you are welcome to bring a refillable bottle.
We want this event to be fun and comfortable. Please dress as you would like...casual, dressy, retro...but please come dressed. :)
There will be a time scheduled for Friday afternoon before our event starts to tour Hamilton High School for anyone interested. More info to come on this.

We are excited to announce our reunion emcee, Kathie Figlesthaler Riddle! She is working on some fun ideas for this event!
We need someone to coordinate a Power Point High School photo collage that will be projected on 2 big screens during our event.

Cost per person is $25.00 per person. The Wildcat Graduate counts as 1 guest. Their +1 is consider another guest.
The 1971 Class of Hamilton High School would like to help the Senior Class of 2021 of Hamilton affected by the COVID-19 pandemic with their graduation fees. You can use the 2 donation values ($10 & $20) to donate any amount to the fund set up to provide that help. The Virus wasn't their fault.
Additional information available at Facebook group - Hamilton High School Class of ‘71 Reunion, 50th Anniversary. Any proceeds left in the Reunion Fund is going towards a fund set up through the Milwaukee School District to help the Senior Class of 2021 at Hamilton High School. The COVID-19 pandemic has had an effect on this years graduates and the Class of 1971 has offered to help them with their Graduation Fees. It is our hope that the excess funds from Reunion ticket sales and additional donations from our Class will help every graduate in this most challenging year.
