Chris Faulkner

Class of 1978

Chris was a graduate of 1978. He received an athletic scholarship to the University of Florida where he played tight end for the Gators 1978 - 1982 seasons. Chris earned All SEC as a Sophmore, Junior and Senior years. During his Sophmore year, Chris was chosen as the SEC sophmore athelete of the year. He started in five Bowl games.
With the Gators, he played in the Peach Bowl in Atlanta,Ga.,the Blue Bonet Bowl in Houstin,Tx, and the Tangerine Bowl in Orlando, Fl. He was selected to play in the Hula Bowl in Honalulu, Hawaii and the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Al.
In 1983 he was drafted in the 4th round to the Dallas Cowboys. Chris went on to play for the Los Angeles Rams, San Diego Chargers, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Chris now volunteers his time giving back to the great Husky football program that gave him his start. He and his wife Cheryl have five children and reside in Cicero.
