I have fond memories of Brian from high school. Sometimes he would carry an HP calculator in a case looped to his belt, which was the ultimate nerd-cool in my book. I co-starred in a short film with Brian called "The Spanish-American War." It was produced by John Yandell and Eric Terhaar. The mock-documentary was part of some high school project they were doing, if I recall correctly. Hilarious fun.
