Alumni Basketball Game
Hunt for a Cure is planning the 1st Annual Alumni Basketball Game on Saturday, December 17 at GHS. We are inviting all GHS graduates that played varsity basketball (during at least their senior year) to participate. The women's game will be at 5:00pm and the men's at approximately 6:30pm. It will be free for players, but all spectators will be charged $5, with a $20 immediate family maximum. All funds raised will go to the "Hunt for a Cure" fund and will stay right here in Greenville for cancer education and awareness. If you are interested in participating, please contact Danielle Palmer in the GHS Athletic Office The actual Hunt for a Cure basketball games game for the high school students will be on February 10 versus GR Christian. This is our version of the Pink Arrow Project.

GPS is in the process of gathering data from all stakeholders regarding their level of satisfaction with the schools. Attached is information which leads to a short survey. The results of this survey will be processed, organized, and arranged so that steps could be taken for continued improvement at GPS.

All Greenville alumni are encouraged to attend the Homecoming Football game on Friday, September 30th, versus the Creston Polar Bears. Just prior to the game, all alumni, family, and friends, who have ever played, cheered, were members of the marching band, danced, coached, or participated in any way over the years, will be invited onto the field for the playing of the National Anthem. At this time, there will be aerial photo's taken from an aircraft flying over the stadium, to be used in the trophy case at the new stadium. This is being done to preserve the history of Black Field, but also to show how many lives were impacted over the years by those that played, performed, or cheered there.

1983 Football team reunion
There will be a 25 year reunion of the 1983 undefeated Yellow Jacket football team at the opening game against Belding. The date of the game is August 28th. All coaches, players, managers, etc... and their families are invited to a pregame gathering at 6:00 pm at Black Field. All who attend will receive free admittance into the game for them and their families, and they will be introduced at half time. There will also be a picture taken of the group and given to each attendee. Please contact the athletic office at 616-754-4261 to RSVP.
