Spent 10 yrs as an Aviator, flying UH-1s, OH-58s, and UH-60s. Flew during Desert Shield/Storm in Kuwait and Iraq. Spent next 11 years working in Special Operations in the Asia Pacific as a Psychological Operations officer.

Robert Denker

Air Force, 20+ Years
Served 24 yrs as an Avionics and Radar technician on all F4 Phantom Fighter Aircraft. Our nicknames for F4 maintenance people were "Phantom Phixers". I was stationed at Kadena A.B. Okinawa, Japan; Clark Air Base in the Philippines; Taegu A.B. in Korea as well as Hill AFB in Utah, Lowry AFB at Denver Colorado, MacDill AFB in Tampa FL but finished my career at Hurlburt Field Florida in Special Ops working on AC!130H gunships. Survived the assasinations in the Philippines, President Ferdinand Marcos overthrow and Mt Pinatubo Volcano that errupted in June of 1991, destroying Clark A.B. and Subic Naval Base.

Bob served in the United States Submarine Force for 24 during the cold war,both Iragi wars and retired in April 2006. He currently lives in Diamondhead Mississippi where he teaches young sailors for the Northrup Grumman Corp.

Our Greenfield Central High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done!
