John Tripodi attended Greece Olympia High School in Rochester, NY.

Passed away on August 3, 2020. Jack is predeceased by his father, Anthony Tripodi.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Jane Tripodi; brother, Frank (Bernadette) Tripodi; several nieces; nephews; cousins and dear friends.
Growing up, Jack loved playing softball, hockey, golf and basketball. His love of sports began literally playing in his back yard. He became a diehard, NY Yankees, Boston Bruins, NY Giants and Notre Dame fan.
He played soccer for Olympia High School and graduated from there in 1971.
While attending MCC he became interested in cooking. After his graduation he decided to attend the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park. After graduating from there, he went on to a career in food service. This all began with an internship at the World Trade Center. During his years in food service he had worked at several of the local country clubs. Jack's career culminated as the Food Service Director at Monroe County Children's Shelter in Rochester.
His mother, Mary Jane and brother, Frank will fondly remember his amazing soups and sauces.
After his retirement he became a snow bird spending his winters in West Palm Beach, Florida.
His love of sports never waned. Over the years he began collecting assorted memorabilia of his beloved sports teams.
For those who knew Jack, he will be remembered for being, quiet, funny, attentive, hardworking, knowledgeable and loyal. He also had a soft spot for dogs. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him!
