F4c phantom fighter pilot. 226 combat missions in Viet Nam. Awarded Silver Star, Distinquished Flying Cross, Purple Heart, Air medal, and AF Commendation Medal. Shot down over North Vietnam on May 25, 1967. Rescued by Navy destroyer from South China Sea.
