I was an aircraft mechanic that volunteered for enlistment in the Air Force and also for a tour in Viet Nam. While surviving that I was fortunate to see things that I never thought in my wildest dreams of seeing. I was also fortunate to see other parts of the orient and really fell in love with the culture.

Was able to travel to a lot of countries. Saudi Arabia was the craziest! Luckily it was before all hell broke loose in that area. Staying in a hotel in Riyadh is much better than a tent in the desert :)

Our Grant Joint Union High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Grant Joint Union High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated. All of us in Sacramento are proud of our military alumni and want to thank them for risking their lives to protect our country!
