Sean was a Staff Sergeant. He worked and flew in the ch-47 Chinook helicopters. Stationed in Alaska. Sean was killed In Iraq on August 14th 2007 when his helicopter crashed during a test flight.

Master Sergeant, C Company, 4th Batallion, 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) Regional Support Element. MSG Lowell acted as the Operations NCO/SGM, served 4 combat rotations in Iraq and is highly decorated. Sadly, MSG Lowell died May 23, 2012 due to complications from stage 4 lung cancer that he contracted during his many deployments in Iraq. He was in the peak of health and never smoked in his life. He is survived by his wife and young daughter.
