Events	Steve graduated from Granite High School in 1965, where he served in ROTC. He married Nancy Pittman (also from GHS class of 1965) and they had a son, Randy. Following his military career he earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Weber State, and both a Master’s Degree and a PhD in History from the University of Utah. He served in both the US Coast Guard and US Navy and retired as a Navy Lieutenant after 20 years of service to his country. Burial at Veterans Memorial Park, Camp Williams, Bluffdale,Utah, on December 11, 2023.
