Served in the Air Force 18 months at Chandler, AZ. Transferred to Utah Army National served in I Corps Artillery where we did war games in Korea, Japan several times. Also Ft Lewis, WA. Retired from the Army in 1996. Had received draft notice two days after graduation but served two year mission to Oregon.

When I was promoted to Senior Chief (TDCS) served on the F/A-18 Fleet Introduction Team specializing in Aircraft Flight Simulators. Later, after promotion to Master Chief, I was selected for the Command Master Chief (CMC) program and served as CMC of USS Constellation CV-64, Commander, Naval Training Center, Orlando FL., Commander, Naval Surface Group Middle-Pacific, and Naval Communications Station Far East. Retired from the Navy in 2000.

Entered the Air Force during Vietnam and served as a B-52 Navigator and Radar Navigator from 1974 to 1982 who transferred to Intelligence and finished his career as the Air Intelligence Staff Officer for the Commander of the Iceland Defense Force (NATO) in 1986.
