Nancy Rhoads
Nancy J. Rhoads, age 68, of York, NE, passed away Monday, April 13, 2015 at York. She was born December 28, 1946 in York to Maxine Schneider. Nancy was raised by her mom and James Fletcher. Nancy previously worked at an egg factory and nursing home when she was younger. She was presently a homemaker, a member of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary, and the First Christian Church in York.
Nancy is survived by three children, Tim (Heather) Crane of Osceola, NE, Dale Crane of Fremont, NE, and Vicki (Dennis) Lankford of Fremont, NE; ten grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; three siblings, Larry (Loretta) Rhoads, Ben (Sharon) Rhoads and Ron (Betty) Rhoads all of Grand Island, NE; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents and one granddaughter.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 am, Friday, April 17, 2015 at the First Christian Church in York with the Reverend Titus Cline officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, McCool Jct., NE. Visitation will be from 5-9 pm Wednesday and 9 am-9 pm Thursday at the mortuary. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
