About	Deanna Lynn Fisher-Landell, 63 ,formerly of Grand Island, passed away of cardiac arrest at the University of San Diego Hospital in California. Survivors of the immediate family include one brother, Gary Fisher of Campbell; two nieces and a nephew. She is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Mildred Fisher. Deanna graduated from Grand Island Senior High School and among other things, was a barber for most of her career. She loved to run half marathons and jogged or walked almost every day, along with her love for gardening. Memorial services are pending in San Diego.

I loved this woman for all she was able to accomplish in her life. First of all, she survived. She survived to the best of her abilities trying to do her best. In my humble opinion, she triumphed!

Wow! There isn't enough space to talk about Dee. First of all she was a survivor extraordinaire. She was so much fun to be around. Probably one of my best memories was being in San Francisci where Dee was living and we decided to drive down to Fullerton and surprise Judy Sober Borowski. We gave her no forewarning. We just showed up on her doorstep. We had a grand time to say the least.
