Michael K. Carson, died Tuesday, November 25, 1969 as result of a one-car accident two miles south of St. Paul on U.S.281. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery.
Michael K. Carson was born on September 21, 1947 in Grand Island to Earle J & Dorothy M. (Hoare) Carson. He attended West Lawn, Walnut Junior High and graduated in 1965 from Grand Island Senior School. He joined the Navy on September 14, 1965 and was discharged December 23, 1968 at Bethesda, Md. He served as a corpsman and spent one year in Vietnam.
He worked in Omaha on construction and was employed at the Lacy Construction Company at the time of his death. He was a member of the First Christian Church.
Survivors include his parents of Grand Island, one sister, Mrs John (Sharron) Peterson of Papillion; one brother, James, at home
