A 17 year-old Grand Island boy was killed in a one-car accident in Hall County on December 9, 1964. Francis and a passenger were hunting some five miles northwest of the city and were heading for Cairo to get something to eat before returning home. In crossing a bridge on a gravel road, the driver lost control of the car and it rolled end-over-end into a ditch.
Francis was the son of Mr. & Mrs. Delmar Drevsen .
Date of Death: December 9, 1964 with interment at West Lawn Cemetery.
Francis was attending Grand Island Senior HIgh School and would have graduated with the class of 1965.

He knew Morse code somehow and we wrote coded notes back and forth. He sat behind me in some classes.
