Marion (most called her Pete) became one of my closest friends. We hadn't seen each other in 17 years, but when we got together it was like no time had passed. Her children and mine played like they grew up together, She was and always will be in my heart, I miss her terribly and still think about her often.
It seems so many of our 1965 classmates have passed now. Today I celebrate my 77th birthday and am hopeful I can hang around a lot longer. I think it was the water in Grand Island. LOL

Oh my goodness! Heavenly Father made a very special person in Pete. She worked hard and she played hard. Nothing half baked about Pete. I had suffered third and fourth degree burns and she took care of me so I didn't have to stay in the hospital. I appreciated that so much.
