Larry Edward Hescock, 71, of Fairfield, NE passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2018 surrounded by his family.
Services will be held at 10:30 Thursday at Apfel Funeral home in Grand Island. Elder Jeff Hayman of the Church of JesusChrist of Latter-Day. saints will officiate.
Larry was born in Battleboro, VT on July 23; 1947; the son of Ralph Edward and Imogene Pearl (Liebhart) Hescock.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War in the Army from 1966-1971. He received an honorable discharge and worked as a mechanic until his retirement.
Larry was an avid pool player. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, riding his Harleys and western books and movies.
Family was very important to him. He is survived by his mother and step father, imogene and Ted George of Grand iIsland; three sisters, Patricia Stillinger,and Vicki & Chuck Kopystynsky of Omaha, and Janelle & Danny Dubbs of Grand Island; brother, David &Judy Hescock of Harvard; his daughter, Jennifer Hescock, seven grandchildren, a great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ralph Edward Hescock, and daughter Laura Marie Helms.
Memorials are suggested to the family.
