He helped bring the computer technology to where it is today.
He was instrumental in bringing the Internet World Wide Web in to existence.
He developed International Standards that led to Personal Computers development.
He was instrumental in introducing computer technology and Web Mail to the Executive Offices of the White House during the Carter Administration.
He was instrumental in introducing e-mail and establishing Congressional TV Monitored of Committees and Electronic Voting to Congress.
He was instrumental in providing Technical Support and advice for Satellite Communications development to Congress.
He was a founder of the predecessor to the COMSAC Computer Systems Annual Conference. The National Computer Conference [NCC] National Computer Conference and American Federation of Information Processing Societies AFIPS.
He was a Gold Core Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers IEEE.
He has been a key member in the development of over (27) USA Defense Systems many were demonstrated in the 1991 Desert Storm and presently being redeployed in preparation of the expected IRAQ conflict.

Russell Eugene Theisen (pronounced Tyson) has retired from Sanmina-SCI Systems Inc. in 2003. He was the Corporate Documentation and Information Control Manager. SANMINA-SCI Corp. One of the largest Electronic Contract Manufacturing and services companies in the world, that had some [97] electronic manufacturing and services plants, located around the world. Russ served [13+] years with USMC(R), there he attended, and /or instructed, in more than (32) electronic and military technical schools. While in, Granby High School in Norfolk, Virginia, he worked for his father at MasterCraft Electronics 1950-1956. And from 1951-1955 he worked for Virginian Pilot News paper. He delivered more than 250 morning newspapers. After receiving his BSEE, in 1962, He worked as an Electrical Engineer for IBM in 1964. He was a Plant Manager for Compton Industries in 1965, and Program Manager at General Dynamics in 1974. From 1966 to 1992, He progressed form a Reliability Engineer, Electrical Design Engineer, Sr. Test Technology Engineer, Sr. System Software Analyst and Professional Staff member for Martin Marietta Aerospace (MMA)in Orlando, Florida from 1966-1992. He retired from [MMA]now called Lockheed Martin, in (1992, and again retired from SANMINA-SCI Systems Inc. in (2003). SANMINA-SCI was a [Fortune 100] company and one of the worlds largest electronic manufacturing services (EMS) providers. Russ was a Certified Professional Manager and Professional Engineer, in two states. He is Listed in Marquis Who's Who in Science and Engineering, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in The World, International Who's Who of Information Technology and several others. He was instrumental in the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers [IEEE] Standards Development and the introduction of ARPA-NET [e.g. World Wide Web Internet] including [PROFS E-Mail] in both the Executive Offices of the Whitehouse and Congress during the Carter Administration.
