| About Me | Many things; was engaged twice, then married for 31 yrs. I gave birth to 3 girls by C section,81,83 & 85. Aimee' born in 83 died 10 years ago from brain-cancer she was only 16 and that has to be the hardest thing I have ever been through. BUT GOD has healed me in my heart and I trust HIM with Aimee' and with everything else in my life. My husband Dave(Hofstra,South Christian grad of 73) and I took 3 foster babies into our home and took care of them for 6 months/then they were adopted into a big Christian family-we can see them sometimes yet. We have many animals(39) and built a log cabin home 13 yrs ago on 26 acres in the country/our dream. We lived in Heritage Hill downtown GR when 1st married, then Caledonia for about 14 yrs. I actually left Godwin in the middle of our senior year and graduated from Allegan HS, live in the country w/ a fam. from our (cult we were into then...the world wide church of God...we were Armstrongites) and I ended up living a few mos. w/ that fam. then, moved in town Allegan and graduated. We had 2 male "streekers" @ the outside football field graduation! I worked after that @ the smorgesboard resturant,Sambos all nite resturant then Oven Fresh Bakery 2 yrs. then went to Beauty School. I have never regreated going to Beauty sch. since I have done hair for my fam/friends/relatives and then for approx7-8 yrs now have been taking my sizzors and go to Senior citizens who have trouble getting out...very rewarding! I have been recently carring for an 85 yr. old lady in Clarksville partime. I have a Scottydog puppy for sale (700.00 or best) and swans for sale (250. ea.) have been a dog breeder 10 yrs. have canaries sometimes to sell also.I have begun taking mandolin lessons as of last spring.i have a large Scooter a Suzuki Bergman 400 I like to ride. I do lots crafts, soap making,embroidery,sewing,knitting,crochetting. I took some watercolor painting classes and ceramics classes, and weaving (I have a LaCleric Canadian loom I'd like to sell) i like to decorate,used to love to dance.Made a beautiful garden for our daughter's memory.Used to sail (we sold our boat shoulddn't have!) Used to love to roller skate. Loved Snowmobiling(sold it shoulddnt have) I really like to Jet Ski/tried that this summer! I like paddle boats and water period.Love to go out to eat, recently went to a show where you eat too@ Turkeyville by Marshall MI. was fun! Love Concerts like Christian BlueGrass artistsIe. Ricky Skaggs etc.. My all time fav. is Don Williams (the country gentleman) have been to 3 of his concerts,saw Jonny Cash 3 times,Waylon&Willy Nelson too.
