Jim was my friend. My only friend in school. I ate my lunch with him at school behind the auditorium curtain where he and another fella worked the audi controls there. Sometimes we listened to Doug Kirshaw recordings of cajon fiddle. This was the only relief from stress of loniness at school, trouble learning math skills,and abuses at home. Jim came over once,twice and ate homemade bread right outve the oven with me. I left Godwin mid yr. On my bday Dec23 the day my dad beat me up horribly, i went to live w people in Allegan where i graduated from in 74' . Eventually i came back to GR. Looked Jim up, met his grama he lived w. Saw his amazing electronics system. A few times we had a few smokes and coupla beers and just sat at Gun Lk park and talked( i unloaded to my friend.) Jim had a very Dear sweet heart and listening ear. He never kissed me or made any advances or inuendos always the gentleman..my friend Jim. I cant wait to see him in Heaven.
