JI Convention Center Memories

A Commemorative Event Celebrating the Jekyll Island Convention Center will be held on August 21, 2010 - the last night of the Beach Music Festival to include live music, s silent auction of Convention Center items, and a slide show of memories past. This joyous occasion will be the last event held in Atlantic Hall and will commemorate the many great years of events at the current Jekyll Island Convention Center in grand style before she is taken down. The Jekyll Island Marketing team is currently looking for photographs and fond memories of events once held there to produce the slide show for that’s evenings event and are inviting alumnus from area high schools to participate. Please email Nancy Kring Rowan at nkringrowan@jekyllisland.com subject line: Convention Center Event, to contribute to the slide show presentation with photos and memories of the Jekyll Island Convention Center. Tickets for the event will be available on the Jekyll Island web site under Beach Music Festival BBQ Bash soon.
