He was born Aug. 8, 1957, in Springfield, Illinois, to Daniel & Joan Lonergan.
Serving in the U.S. Air Force during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, receiving numerous medals and awards, retiring after 18 years of service.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Brenda of Ward; two children, Brandon Brewer of Ward and Amanda Epley of Ward; his parents, Daniel P. "Boone" Lonergan & Joan M. Lonergan of Chatham, Illinois; one brother, Paul E. Lonergan (Renee) of Chatham, Illinois; two sisters, Jean A. White of Chatham, Illinois, and Carol L. McGuire (Robert) of Springfield, Illinois; four grandchildren; along with many other family members and friends.
