About	Brenda Kaye Leheney Warren, 50, of Chatham, died at 6:05 a.m. on Monday, August 25, 2008 at St. John's Hospital after a four year battle with cancer. Jabusch Leheney. Brenda graduated from Glenwood High School's class of 1976 where she was a member of the Glenwood Singers. She attended Illinois State University and graduated from the University of Illinois at Springfield. She was formerly a teacher at Ball-Chatham Elementary School, but her real love was being a stay-at-home mom. Brenda was a loving mother, a devoted daughter, sister and aunt and a loving niece and cousin of many. She was a truly selfless person who always put everyone else first. She loved nature and animals and her children were her whole world. Brenda was very active in the South Central Illinois Adoptive Parents Association (SCIAPA) and as an international Girl Scout leader. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. In her spare time, Brenda enjoyed water sports, traveling, singing and playing the piano and also painting.
