Class of 1987
Army, 20+ Years
I graduated and 2 weeks later I went to Ft McClellan, AL for basic and AIT. I graduated Basic and AIT,. I was first stationed at West Point, NY. Then Mannheim, Germany, while there I wes deployed to Desert Storm. Then Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD. After that, I went to Wiesbaden, Germany. I then left active duty and joined the 29th Military Police Company, National Guard in Maryland. While with them, I deployed to Bosnia, Iraqi Freedom, and Guantanamo bay, Cuba. I am now a reservist with the First Army Division East. I have 16 years active duty and 22 years total. Staying till i get my 20 year active duty retirement.

Enlisted out of high school, spent 15 years enlisted and the last 16 as an Officers. Completed my AA, BS and MS and now retired and work for the state of NC. All my kids are grown and I have 5 grandsons.

Enlisted right out of high school and spent 32 years retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer. Marty flew the P-3 and S-3 aircraft deploying 11 times overseas and on board ship. Two of three of Marty's daughter have military careers, one Army and one Navy. During Marty's career he flew 39 combat missions during Operation Iraq Freedom and amassed 5500 flight hours and 660 carrier landing.
