Zweibrucken, Germany (1962-1964), Randolph AFB (1964-1965) and the Pentagon (1966-1967).
Duties included six years as aircraft loadmaster and seven years as digital computer programmer.
Served an additional eight years as training systems designer in the Air Force Reserves. Retired in 1986 with the grade of Master Sergeant (E7).

Served on USS Preble DLG-15, home-ported in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii from May 1972 to July 1st, 1975. Assigned to Mid-Station and the DMZ Gunline off the coast of Vietnam from 1972 to 1973. USS Preble has the distinction of being the last naval ship to be hit by enemy fire during the Vietnam War. In late 1973, was sent to the Gulf of Aqaba and Persian Gulf during the Yom Kippur War to prevent the Soviet Union from entering the conflict on Egypt's side. Left the US Navy on July 1st, 1975 at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii as a Radioman Second Class.

I did boot camp in Orlando, FL, then was station at COMMSUBGRU 1,Bangor, WA for a year and half, than was transfer to COMMSUBGRU 7, Yokosuka, JA for 4 years. After that I was send Naval Suppy Center Oakland, CA for 2 years and was release.
