Mary and I met at Fitzpatrick Elementary School and became best friends throughout high school. We were both in choir and sports. I think of her every time I hear "Winchester Cathedral" and "Love is Blue" on satellite radio - remember the "dances" we had to do in girl's gym classes back then??
