About Timothy James Fisher, 60, of Toledo, Ohio passed away unexpectedly at his home on September 19, 2013. Tim was born in Martin, Ohio on December 12, 1952 to James C. and Elizabeth (Witt) Fisher. Tim graduated from Genoa Area Local High School in 1970. He went on to obtain and Electrical Engineering Degree from the University of Toledo and became a professional engineer. He later founded Thermeq in 1984. He was president of Thermeq, in Waterville, Ohio. He also served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Genoa Banking Company.

Tim was fond of the arts and enjoyed museums throughout the United States. He especially enjoyed spending time with his dog "Doggie", family, and friends. He loved to laugh and entertain those around him with his witty sense of humor. Tim's greatest gift was the gift of teaching. He enjoyed reading and expanding his knowledge. He was known for his wisdom and life lessons. His philosophy was to take the tools you have been given and apply them to life.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Elizabeth "Babe" Fisher, sister, Linda (David) Bertok, nieces, Diandra Bertok, and Brianna (Todd) Bertok-Schack, and nephew, Cy Twete, girlfriend, Karen Mckown, aunts, Dorothy Johnson, and Audrey (Russell) Yackee and his beloved dog, "Doggie". Preceding him in death are his father, James C. Fisher and sister Jan McLaughin.

A funeral service for Tim will be conducted at 11 AM, on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 in St. John's United Church of Christ, 1213 Washington St. Genoa, Ohio 43430. Visitation will be in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St. Genoa, OH, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Tuesday, September 24, 2013. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be directed to the Genoa Area Local Schools Scholarship Fund to start a scholarship in Tim's name. Contributions may be mailed to Genoa Bank, c/o Jean Holcombe, 801 Main St., Genoa, OH 43430.
