Nicholas A. Hoyt, 18, of Genoa, died Monday, July 18, 2005, in the Medical University of Ohio, Toledo. Nicholas was born January 14, 1987, in Toledo to James E. and Barbara A. (Meng) Hoyt. He was a 2005 graduate of Genoa Area High School and was planning to enlist in the U.S. Navy dreaming of becoming a Navy Seal. He had presently worked at the Fox Theatre in the Woodville Mall. Nicholas was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Genoa and enjoyed paintballing and video games. He was always helping others and was a good friend to everyone.
Survivors include his parents, James and Barbara of Genoa; brothers, James Hoyt Jr. of Ft. Worth, TX, and Brian Hoyt of Genoa; maternal grandparents, Robert and Margaret Meng of Genoa, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Franklin and Eleanor Hoyt.
