About	John "Jack" McQueary, 72, of Oregon, OH, died suddenly Wednesday, December 21, 2005, in his home. Born May 31, 1933, to Paul and Gladys (Klatt) McQueary in Toledo. He retired from Libbey-Owens-Ford after 37 years. Jack owned and operated McQueary's 76 Station on East Broadway. He also owned Jack McQueary's Snow Removal. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy-Korean War on the USS Hammel AD20 and in ACB1. He touched so many lives and there wasn't anyone anytime he wouldn't take time to help. Jack was very active. He was the Ohio Past Grand Counselor of United Commercial Travelers and a member of Council # 694, Past Commander of Christ Dunberger Post #537, and on the color guard and rifle squad. Life member VFW # 4906, and a life member of Seabee Veterans. Also belonged to the Rossford Eagles and worked for Lucas County Board of Elections for many years. In 2004, Jack received his diploma from Genoa High School through veterans services. Jack and his wife, Maryann, traveled with the McQuarrie Clan including trips to Scotland and Australia. Jack is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Maryann (Lagger); children, Rick McQueary, Sue (Don) Revenaugh, Chuck (Sue) McQueary, Sheri (Doug) Kelly, Karen (Dave) Hart, Connie (Tim) Hartman, John (Joy) McQueary, Mike (Lisa) McQueary and Rob (Sharon) McQueary; grandchildren, Curt, Stephanie McQueary, Corey, Emily, Kelli Revenaugh, Charley, Katey McQueary, Jennifer, Amy, Jason, Kelly, Crystie, Tim Hartman, Jonathan, Chelsea, Morgan, Sydney McQueary, Chayce McQueary, Jourdyn and Nadine McQueary Visitation will be Monday 2-9 p.m. at Hoeflinger-Bolander Funeral Home, 3500 Navarre Ave., with Christ Dunberger Service at 7 p.m. and U.C.T. Services following at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday visiting 8 a.m. to prayers at 10:15 a.m. proceeding to St. Thomas Aquinas Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery. .Published in Toledo Blade from December 23 to December 25, 2005
