I'm sure it is lost for good but here goes. while in the service I was on temporary duty to Nellis AFB in Las Vegas. I took my class of 1979 ring which was silver off my finger to wash up, I forgot it was there and when I remembered we were in the air heading home, I called them when we got home but either someone threw it away or took it to pawn, this would have been in 1993.

Did you lose a class ring in Hawaii in January 2013? You should post it on Craig's List. You a probably still in Hawaii. Don't assume it is lost for ever. Plenty people like myself spend plenty time metal detecting in the ocean.
