Due to the increase in covid positives, the number of recent cancelations and upon advice of one of our graduates who is a physician, we have decided to reschedule our 55th reunion. We will reach out to you all in the coming weeks with more information. We fully intend to have this reunion as soon as safely possible. Happy Summer to all you 1966 Garinger Wildcats. Our reunion is coming up fast and we need more of you to get those registration forms to Johnny Swinson. We have 50 real enthusiastic folks coming, but we need twice that number. Please call your Garinger 1966 friends and get them on board. The venue is great, the food will be great, the band is great and we need a great turnout. What we really need is YOU! This will be fun folks and I don’t want anyone to miss out on that fun. Greetings to our fellow
GARINGER CLASS OF 1966 graduates!!

Can you believe that it's been 5 years since our 50th reunion. We are working hard again to make this 55th Reunion a fun and affordable gathering.   It has been great getting the committee back together and planning for some more fun.
The venue has been finalized. We have contracted with the Mecklenburg Shrine Club, 5200 Mecklenburg Shrine Club Road (off of Harrisburg Rd)  to host our event. We have booked “The Flashbacks Band" to perform for our reunion. This band always puts on a great show and 
they specialize in "Our kind of Music"
The cost of the band is being funded by voluntary contributions by several of your classmates and will not be included in your ticket cost. In an effort to allow plenty of time to budget for the event, we would like to announce that cost for the event will be $45.00.   This is per person pricing. (Half the cost of the 50th and still a live band) What a deal!

We will be having a Midwood Smokehouse BBQ pork and chicken dinner served with sides, a salad table and sweet / unsweetened iced tea. A cash bar will be available for beer and wine (accepting cash and cards) and you may bring your own labeled bottle of spirits.

September 25 2021 - Saturday Night: 5:00 – 11:00

Dress will be casual.

The entire event is handicap accessible.
Please see attached Registration Form to be completed and sent in with your check.  Please pass on this posting to any 1966 graduate that you know who may not have been located yet.  We are making every effort to find as many of our classmates as possible.

Don’t miss out on a great time seeing old friends and remember that the Class of 1966 always turns out the most reunion attendees.
