After some major racial clashes, Gardena High formed this group of students who met up and discussed issues on campus. I was one of those who represented the Hispanic population. I learned about things I grew ignorant to. I learned that whatever race we were, we wanted the same basic things. Happiness, safety, equality, and respect. That group helped me open my mind, and heart. Thank you, Gardena High for teaching me about true life.
